1. OVERVIEW

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit marcosarmenta.com, how it is used, and what controls you have over it. This is a personal platform. It is not a subscription service, an e-commerce store, or a SaaS product. Data collection here is minimal by design.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

Information you submit. If you fill out the project inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, and the details you provide about your project. Nothing more is collected unless you choose to share it.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site logs basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and time of visit. This data is used only to understand general site performance and is not linked to your identity.

Cookies. This site may use essential cookies required for basic functionality. No advertising or behavioral tracking cookies are used. Analytics, if enabled, are privacy-respecting and do not build personal profiles.

3. HOW WE USE IT

Inquiry responses. Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your message. You will not be added to a mailing list, sold to a third party, or contacted for any purpose unrelated to your inquiry.

Site performance. Automatically collected technical data helps identify errors and understand how the site is being used at an aggregate level. It is not used to track individuals.

4. WHAT WE DON'T DO

We do not sell your data. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not run remarketing campaigns or behavioral tracking. We do not collect payment information — this site has no payment functionality.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

This site is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for form data storage and Resend for email delivery. These providers process data only as needed to operate the site. Each operates under its own privacy policy. Links to external platforms (LinkedIn, Dribbble, etc.) are outside our control.

6. DATA RETENTION

Inquiry submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond and follow up. If you would like your submission deleted, email hello@marcosarmenta.com and it will be removed promptly.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and opt out of any future communication. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@marcosarmenta.com.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

European residents (GDPR): You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Complaints may be directed to your local supervisory authority.

8. CHILDREN

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If such data is identified, it will be deleted immediately.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This policy may be updated as the site evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
