Push Play is a high-fidelity digital ecosystem created for a premium Bay Area recording and podcasting studio. The project brings together a high-energy creator aesthetic with a clean, Swiss-inspired grid to keep the experience intuitive and efficient. We built a custom booking system that emphasizes practical functionality while establishing clear brand authority from the first interaction. With a dark-mode interface and bold, condensed typography, the platform feels tactile, focused, and tailored to serious content creators.
Scope of Work
The Challenge
The recording studio industry often relies on fragmented booking systems and outdated, cluttered interfaces. Push Play needed a unified digital ecosystem that could handle complex scheduling and service tiering while maintaining a confident, cultural tone.
The Execution
We developed a mobile-first interface utilizing a high-contrast palette of "Push Play Green" against deep charcoals. The system features a modular service layer—ranging from audio recording to video streaming—integrated with a real-time booking engine. To optimize the identity layer, we utilized uppercase typography and tactile UI elements that provide immediate visual feedback.
The Results
The final platform transformed a manual inquiry process into a high-utility, automated conversion funnel. By prioritizing a Swiss-inspired hierarchy and stripping away generic filler, the new digital presence successfully built authority in a competitive market. This build reinforces the studio’s position as a leader in the future of recording.
